Dear New York,

New Yorkers thought we could make it. Then costs went up. SNAP got harder to keep. The math stopped working.

Now more of us are standing in line—parents, seniors, families doing everything right and still coming up short. For over 40 years, Food Bank For NYC has been part of how this city feeds its own.

No New Yorker should go hungry. Not this holiday season. Not ever.

The Need Is Greater Than Ever

This holiday season, 1.6 million New Yorkers are facing hunger, including 1 in 4 kids. And with families across the city feeling the impact of cuts to SNAP, more New Yorkers are turning to us to put food on the table.

That’s why we’re showing up for our city with 50 million meals.
