Testimonials
Lourdes, Parent, Brooklyn
It is helping our staff to interact with our parents on a different level. We are teaching them to make healthier choices for their children and also providing them with important information about good nutrition.”
Jessica Dean, Teacher, Bronx
One of the aspects of CookShop that sets it apart from other programs is the great impact it has on students’ families. Parents often report when going shopping with their children, that their child will tell them what are healthy foods (‘go foods’) based on what they learned in CookShop, and are more apt to try healthy foods due to their exposure to them at school.”
