NEW!  To help you make the most out of Conference, workshops are organized around three themes – Food, Funds, and Focus – and presented at a variety of levels.

D. Just Say Yes!

Learn tips and tricks from Just Say Yes nutritionists that will help your community make healthier decisions. You’ll be putting greens back on the table, while keeping the green in wallets!


E. Being Your Best During the Worst

Get your program ready to face the next disaster.  Learn what steps you can take to make sure you are prepared to lead when your community needs you the most.


F. SchoolFood and Me

SchoolFood programs provide nutritious meals to the youngest New Yorkers every day.  Why should you be involved? This workshop will show you how encouraging participation in the SchoolFood program not only provides much-needed resources for your clients, but can also ease the burden on your program.


G. Service Success

Volunteers are an incredible resource for your program.  With the help of this workshop, you'll be able to train, motivate and support them through their service experience to keep them coming back.

As someone working on the front lines of hunger relief, you understand the challenges our most vulnerable neighbors face every day.  Learn how to effectively advocate on their behalf and make an impact at the city, state and federal levels.


J. Communications Boot Camp

Your mission is your message. This workshop will help you make sure it is being heard loud and clear.  You’ll learn about the latest communication channels, techniques and how to successfully incorporate them into a 360-degree strategy.


K. Cooking Together
Food, Advanced

Food Bank's own Community CookShop team will give you the tools to lead your very own cooking workshops. You’ll be making cooking together fun, healthy and affordable in no time.


L. Fundraising on a Shoestring Budget
Funds, Intermediate

Limited resources can make fundraising feel like a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be! We'll show you how to build and grow the donor support you need to take your program to the next level.


M. Maximizing the Moment
Focus, General

Your clients often have needs that go beyond food.  Your community is full of resources that can help.  Learn how to make each client interaction an opportunity to understand those needs and make the right connections.  


N. Simply Nutrition
Food, General

Making nutrition a part of your program is as easy as 1-2-3!  1.  Attend this workshop.  2.  Learn great nutrition facts and tools.  3.  Bring it all back to your program so your clients can make healthier choices for themselves and their families.
