Food Bank Honored in the Bronx
Last night, Food Bank For New York City received the Community Service Award from the Hunts Point Economic Development Corporation for 31 years of excellence as the city’s major hunger relief organization. Food Bank COO Lisa Hines-Johnson accepted the award on behalf of Food Bank and our citywide network of member charities.

Taste of the Jets

Kicking off the Bye Week, the Jets will hold their 11th annual Taste of the Jets event Monday, November 10, 2014 at 6pm. This unique event combines football, food and a fashion show, allowing fans to experience all the city has to offer while teaming up with players and coaches to fight hunger in our community. 100% of net proceeds will benefit Food Bank For New York City.

Celebrating Italian Heritage
