December 1, 2014 – The hardest time to find a free meal is the day AFTER Thanksgiving. That’s why Food Bank’s Community Kitchen in Harlem was open on November 28 for our first Orange Friday. Chef Maxcel Hardy and his team prepared a full menu of tasty dishes, including turkey pot pie, sweet potato soufflé, collard greens, au gratin mac-n-cheese and more. Thank you Chef Max for spending Orange Friday with Food Bank and giving Harlem residents a delicious post-holiday meal.
