On Sunday, Aug 13, Food Bank For New York City hosted our second annual Community BBQ and Block Party at our Community Kitchen & Pantry in West Harlem. More than five-hundred families came together at noon to enjoy BBQ lunch prepared by our own Chef Sheri, Nathan’s Famous hot dogs, and client-choice fresh produce, while kids lit up the pavement with chalk art at our activity station. Thank you to our partners at West Side Foods Inc, Fresco Products, E. Armata Inc, Mosner Family Brands, and D’Arrigo New York for making community events like this possible.
