July 28, 2015 – Food Bank For New York City hosted donors and partners on a Mission Engagement Tour last week, giving attendees an insider’s look at our work in action.
The day began at our 90,000 square foot warehouse in Hunts Point, with a tour of our food distribution and operations. From there, the group traveled to Bright Temple AME, a recently opened pantry in Hunts Point – the only member serving this extremely high need community.
The visit wrapped up at New York Common Pantry, giving guests the opportunity to see how our high-capacity members are feeding the need using modern technology and Food Bank’s innovative programming.
