Check Out Hunger with Food Bank For New York City!

Check-Out Hunger is back! During Food Bank’s largest annual grocery and supermarket campaign, you can Shop and Fight Hunger at participating stores citywide! Starting October 30, 2021 – January 31, 2022, you’ll find donation coupons at the cash registers, where you can donate a few dollars during checkout to help New Yorkers facing hunger this holiday season and beyond.

HOW IT WORKS

SHOP

Through the end of the year, shop at any of the participating stores below. Be sure to check this page often, as we’ll be adding more stores throughout the campaign!

SELECT A DONATION AMOUNT

When you get to the check-out counter, select a donation coupon from the placard at the register — available amounts are $1, $3, and $5.

CHECK OUT!

Hand the donation coupon to the cashier and your coupon will be scanned — each one has a bar code on the back, just like the other items in your shopping cart. The donation amount will then be added to your shopping total.

Feel good knowing that your donation makes a tremendous impact! Your tax-deductible contribution will appear on your receipt.
