On Sept. 14, 2023, our dedicated Junior Board members recently rescued a whopping 1,400 pounds of locally sourced produce, comprising of fresh radishes, beets, lettuces, tomatoes, corn, and herbs, from the Union Square Greenmarket during Farm 2 Food Bank! Without delay, this incredible bounty was carefully loaded onto one of our Food Bank trucks, swiftly reaching our community partners. Thank you to the generous farmers, vendors and, of course, our Junior Board for making Farm 2 Food Bank possible.
