NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2025 — Food Bank For New York City and Grubhub expanded the Full Plate Program, providing $714,500 in grants to more than 90 local food pantries and soup kitchens. Through the Grubhub Community Fund, 65 Food Bank member organizations each received $10,000 to fight food insecurity.
“These funds help our members provide more food, secure equipment, and even keep the lights on,” said Zanita Tisdale, Vice President of Agency and Organizational Impact at Food Bank For New York City. “Grubhub’s continued partnership strengthens our mission to close the hunger gap.”
The Full Plate Program, now in its second year, continues to expand its reach, ensuring more New Yorkers have access to nutritious food.
