October 13-16, 2016 – Food Bank For New York City was honored to participate again this year at Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Coca-Cola (NYCWFF)!
Since its launch in 2008, the Festival has raised more than $9.5 million, with all net proceeds benefitting the partnering hunger-relief programs, Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign.
NYCWFF is a national, star-studded, four-day event showcasing the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs, culinary personalities and America’s most beloved television chefs while fighting to end hunger. Legendary culinary icons connected with – and cooked for – over 55,000 local foodies.
Food Bank volunteers staffed events throughout the weekend registering guests, whipping up culinary feasts, and ensuring each event goes off without a hitch. We’re so proud to have over 2,000 volunteer sign-ups!
Thank you to all of our supporters and new friends who came out to NYCWFF. By attending, you have made it possible for us to connect more families with the healthy food and resources they need every day for their well-being.
Thanks to the vendors who donated 17,264 pounds of food to Food Bank! Thank you to all the NYCWFF partners who support Food Bank through the festival. A very special mention to Food Bank For New York City partners leading the charge against hunger right here in New York City: Food Network, Cooking Channel, Southern Wine & Spirits, Bank of America, Delta Air Lines, ShopRite, Barilla, Jamba Juice, Pat LaFrieda and Di Lusso Deli Company to name a few.
